Position: Part-time Food Services (​Please send inquiries to gayes@concordia.cc)

Hours: Sundays 6:30am to 12:45pm

Applicant needs to be dependable and able to lift 20 lbs without assistance.

 
Responsibilities:
Brew, set up and delivery of coffee needs for campus for Bible Studies
General kitchen end of shift clean up and shut down
Prep and leave on cart - Sunday Fusion supplies

 

Hours:  Monday - Friday 9am to 1pm

Applicant must have a High School diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older, already have OR be willing to obtain a Texas Food Handler's Certificate (within 60 days of employment), dependable, and able to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

Position:  Tiny Tots (MDO) Coordinator (Part-time)

Hours: Approximately 20-29 hours weekly.  Tuesday/Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm, Wednesday/Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm.  School year with some summer for planning. 

Applicants must have a degree in the field of child development, education, or similar area.  Coordinator oversees a staff of 10-12 teachers, coordinates early childhood curriculum, communicates with parents and staff regarding matters of child development and general information, and coordinates registration and enrollment annually.  This position also requires oversight of nursery care for seasonal Wednesday morning Bible Studies and MOPS (Friday mornings - school year only).  This Christ-like individual shares the love of Jesus while supporting the ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Benefits:  Flexible summer hours, Retirement/Disability. This position does not qualify for tuition benefits.

 

Position:  Tiny Tots (MDO) Teacher and Assistant (Part-time)

Hours: Approximately 20 hours weekly.  Tuesday/Thursday 8:30am - 3:30pm, Wednesday/Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm.  School year only.  Assist on Sunday mornings and special events as needed and available year round.

Applicants must have knowledge of child development and early childhood education.  Degreed individuals are preferred for teacher positions, although not required for assistant positions.  Teachers and assistants work together to provide a positive social/emotional environment conducive to helping children learn basic school skills, communication skills, and Christ-like values.  Applicants should be strong communicators and able to inform parents, co-workers, and others about the program, activities, and child development.  This position requires rotating assistance with nursery care for Wednesday morning Bible Studies and weekly assistance with MOPS on Friday mornings during the school year.  These Christ-like individuals share the love of Jesus while supporting the ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church.

 

Position:  Tiny Tots Office Manager and Nursery Staff Coordinator (Part-time)

Hours: Approximately 20-29 hours weekly.  Tuesday/Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm, some Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30am - 12:30pm. Sunday mornings, 9:00am – 12:30pm.

Applicants must have some knowledge of child development, staff scheduling, and business management.  This position requires general support and office management for our Mother’s Day Out Program, collecting payments for MDO and managing family accounts, scheduling staff for events requiring nursery care including Sunday mornings, and overseeing some of those events.  While this is a year-round position, requirements are definitely more relaxed over the summer months when school is not in session.  This Christ-like individual shares the love of Jesus while supporting the ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Position: Part-time Nursery Staff

Hours: Sundays, 7:30am – 12:30pm, Wednesdays, 8:30am - 11:30am during seasonal Bible Studies & Fridays, 8:30am - Noon during school year for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).  Applicants do not need to be available for all of the listed times to apply.

Applicant must enjoy working with children of various age groups. Care is provided for children while parents attend Worship, Bible Studies and other ministry-oriented events. School year only required; however, some Sunday mornings and other positions are available year round. These Christ-like individuals share the love of Jesus while supporting the ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church.

 

Position: Part-time & Full-time Child Care Positions 

Hours: PT/AM 7:00am - 11:00am; PT/PM 2:30pm - 6:30pm; FT 9:00am - 6:00pm

FT/PT Co-teachers are needed to work with children between the ages of infancy and 5 years. High School diploma or GED, 18 year or older, dependability required. Able to respond to children and their needs respectfully and communicate with parents well. Strong awareness of child development. Follow lesson plans and conduct class responsibly and with integrity.  These Christ-like individuals share the love of Jesus while supporting the ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Holiday Pay:  PT/FT staff qualify for paid holidays after 90 days.

Benefits: FT staff qualify for paid time off after one year and health benefits after 60 days.

 

Position: After School Learning Center Staff

Hours: 3:15pm to 6:15pm — Monday through Friday for all regular school days

After School Learning Staff Responsibilities:

  • Organize , set-up and restore facilities/classroom daily
  • Maintain supplies and materials
  • Assist students with homework, snacks, and classroom activities and outdoor play
  • Maintain supervision of students at all times
  • Perform additional duties and accept other responsibilities as may be assigned
